    1. This morning I splurged on a new 15″ MacBook Pro; my current Mac decided to shed its mortal coil. Man, this thing’s sweet! I only wish I could actually afford it…
    2. I’m in the midst of developing a long overdue module for Form Tools: the Hooks Manager. It provides a simple UI to add code / HTML to be generated / outputted at various junctures int the script (about 150 spots). Really cool. The trouble will be explaining how mind-blowingly useful it can be. Two-thirds of the documentation will be examples.
    3. Last week I started a Flash class at the local college – very interesting stuff! The coding part of it is rather simple, but it’s giving me a great intro into Actionscript 3, something I’ve been wanting to learn for some time. First impressions are very positive.
    4. I’m returning to my sculptures again… Just brushed off the dust on a project I started a few years back. Neat idea: sort of a cross between a Rubik’s cube and somebody’s front lawn. I’ll post pics at some point.

    Things are good!

Extremely interesting. This IE plugin lets you render pages via Google Chrome. The upcoming Google Wave release requires it.

Thanks to Stuart and Kris for telling me about this.

Form Tools Wordpress PluginSeptember 16, 2009
Filed under: Form Tools, Software @ 10:53 pm

    Hey folks,

I’ve finished a first draft of a Wordpress plugin for Form Tools. The plugin allows you to manage your form submission data from within Wordpress, instead of just Form Tools. If you’re a Wordpress user like myself, this is a really nice way to keep track of submissions from within a single UI. No more logging into two places…

You can read the documentation and download the script here:

Brilliant. I’ve been using reCAPTCHA for some time – this should be good for everyone.
